Asta vom Reinberg (Anja)

Anja is my personal hunting dog and she is my pride and joy! This girl works hard in the field and in the water. At home she is a softy and rolls around the home with my kids. She is also my most trustful guard dog. She is extremely vocal to strangers and will run up and down my driveway to deter strangers from exiting their cars. But as soon as my visitors get out of their vehicle, she runs back to the home and continues barking at my door step until I give her the okay command to calm down. She switches from protective mode to pet mode instantly. In the field she is a calm tracking dog and will never bump a sitting bird. She is also a natural calm dog after the shot, which is the reason she is my most reliable retriever. She will keep her eyes on the bird and if a shot is fired, she will continue to look at the bird and exactly where it dropped before breaking into the retrieve. This girl have made many unbelievable retrieves that I certainly thought was a lost cause. In the water Anja is an Otter, she loves the water and her love of tracking duck scent is obvious in each retrieve. She is very calm in the blind and quiet in her retrieves. Anja is the mother to our A, B and C litter. All her pups have shown similar qualities to her. She produces very clean litters with correct bites, great coat and conformation. Above all she is an excellent natural mother.

Bea vom Moua-Forst

Bea is my brother Yee Moua's full time all hunting season dog. She is very cooperative, calm demeanor and a hunting machine. She has a strong, solid, broad chest big bone built and she is the largest female of the B litter. She covers the ground well and very methodical, stretches out farther than her litter mates. Bea is the best producing wild bird dog we have, she runs hard but also locks on point hard allowing the foot hunter to walk up and kick out the wild roosters. Bea hunts early season on early geese opener, switches to grouse in northern Minnesota, then pheasant and duck season. She will be in the duck boat in the morning and switch over to the fields in the evening for pheasant. She is one tough dog and will dispatch any varmint in her way.

Bijuu vom Moua-Forst

This girl is very cooperative, calm demeanor and a hunting machine. She has a strong, solid, broad chest big bone built. She covers the ground well and very methodical, does not stretch out as far as my fellow Dakota breeders would like to see in their grassland dogs, but perfect for the Minnesota, Iowa and public land with a mixture of terrain and various grass heights. Any parcel that Bijuu and I cover will guarantee no birds left behind. Bijuu is the type of dog that is true to a foot hunter. She will work calmly to your pace and will continuously check back. When she is in a hot pursuit track, her nose will be on the ground like a vacuum and will stalk like a feline until she pinpoint the bird. When this girl is on point, it is guarantee 100% the bird is locked down and any further movement will burst out a big bird. She is also a fantastic water dog and will sit in the blind calmly with her eyes in the sky. We believe that these broad chested big bone dogs tend to be calmer in the blinds and their water work is superior, Bijuu is a testimony to this statement. She received an 11 in her search behind the duck test and the Senior German judge who evaluated her gave high praise. In the hunting scene, Bijuu is my go-to dog for the cripples in the cattails. When she is in there and you start to hear the high pitch yelp, that is the indication that she is in full pursuit of a cripple duck. Aside from hunting, Bijuu is just a happy, gentle family dog. She not only wags her tail but wags her entire butt and always love the attention that anyone will give her. She sleeps with my 2 year old daughter in her room each night and both are peas in a pod.
